So, hello there!
My name is Keita-Eiri, or Kei-kei if you like and this is my blog (obviously).
I am a second year mature student studying B.Sc. (Hons) Biomedical Science. BUT I am more than just a student of Science!
I currently reside in Lincoln, Lincolnshire and have done for many years, however, I am originally from London, hence the lack of one of those funky up-north accents… or any accent really. And of course, whilst residing in Lincoln, my pleasant little smush baby Magnus Bane, resides here with me. I’d like to say we hav crazy adventures, alas, we just both eat food, share the occasional cake and take nice long afternoon naps together. On occasion, she sometimes eats my pens and sits on my notes… cats, ey?
Becoming a mature student was a big deal for me and for a while, I honestly felt that I was never going to come to University and just, ya know, try to climb my way up the job ladder through sales assistant jobs and what not. That wasn’t for me. Thanks to my Grandma, I returned to Lincoln, went to college and here I am now, with goals I would have once-upon-a-time, never dreamed of having!
After all this is done, which will be a sad day indeed as education and learning truly makes me happy, I do hope to become an Anatomical Pathology Technologist or perhaps work alongside the morgue in NHS pathology labs. I do have a keen interest in neuroscience, immunology and type 1 diabetes as well.
But, as stated above… I am more than just a Scientist!a
In my spare time, I am an artist and a writer with many big ambitions and dreams that go alongside them. I might even post some of my work for you to all see! I’d like to also say, I am a closet geek, but that is a little bit of a lie because I am often the student walking around Lincoln University with a marvel backpack covered in keyrings and a Chewbacca hoodie. Trust me, you can’t miss me. Reading too, is also a massive passion of mine as well… trust me, I have a vast library I have yet to explore all corners of. And I guess we can throw in my love for Japanese Rock music!
There is always more than meets the eye!
So welcome to my blog, feel free to talk to me and have a very good time!
